How Much Wrapping Paper Do You Need
To Gift-Wrap A House?
Oshawa Realtor Hopes to Find Out
Stuart Smith, a sales representative with Re/Max Spirit Inc., Brokerage is stocking up on hundreds of rolls of Christmas wrapping paper in anticipation of wrapping his largest ever Christmas present.
"I am excited to do it" he says. "I can only imagine what the finished product will look like".
Stuart, who once collected empty beer bottles to help fund his London municipal election campaign dubbing it "Running On Empties", has committed to gift wrap any home he sells between now and Christmas.
"Even if the home closes after Christmas I will make sure that it is properly wrapped before the new owners take possession."
His wife laughs at the thought of Stuart wrapping anything. "Unless people are moving into cylindrical houses, he doesn't have a chance. Stuart can't do corners to save his life."
And for home buyers and sellers outside of the G.T.A. who find a sales representative by accessing Stuarts' website www.stuartsmith.ca/soldonacure.html , Stuart has committed to donate $250.00 to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. In fact, his goal is to donate $100,000 in 2009 alone.
"It is always important to me to deliver a positive message whenever I can as I believe we are only given a few opportunities in our lives to do so. The relationship between Re/Max and The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation has provided me with an opportunity to deliver a message in a fun and positive way and it will aid in the fight against cancer."
